Our services for Summer 2026:

During summer, we daily offer the famous Modern Karelian Feast Meal, which includes traditional flavors with a modern twist. Discover more about the Modern Karelian Feast Meal content (via the discover button).

At other times, our operations focus on Karelian food culture and catering services. As well as plenty of other themed lunches and evenings.

May 2026:

Fri 1.5. May Day brunch 1st seating 10:30-12:00 and 2nd seating at 12:30-14:00 (sold out)

Sun 3.5. Feast meal at 11:00-15:00

Sun 10.5. Mother's Day lunch, 1st seating at 11:00-13:00, 2nd seating at 13:30-15:30 & 3rd seating at 16:00-18:00 (menu coming in February)

Sun 17.5. Feast meal at 11:00-15:00

Fri 22.5. Maarianvaara Theatre's new stage production Idän Hehku invites you to experience Eastern Finland, performance starting at 19:00, tickets 15€/person

Sun 24.5. Feast meal at 11:00-15:00

Sun 31.5. Feast meal at 11:00-15:00

June 2026:

Modern Karelian Feast Meal served daily from 11:00-16:00

(Note! Restaurant closed on Midsummer's Eve Fri 19.6.)

Note! Sat 13.6. and Sat 27.6. Modern Karelian Feast Meal at 11:00-14:00, after which the restaurant will host a private event

July 2026:

Modern Karelian Feast Meal served daily from 11:00-18:00

Note! During the Bear Festival, we will serve with extended opening hours as follows:
