In our restaurant, we arrange group meals, meeting catering, and coffee services.

Whether your party is small or large, the restaurant staff serves your group professionally.

Our facilities are ideally suited to the needs of both smaller and larger groups – for up to 160 people.

For groups desiring their own space, it is also possible to reserve the upstairs hall in our restaurant, which has seating for 60 customers. We recommend this space for dining for groups of at least 20 people!

Group prices and terms

Minimum group size 16 people, every 16th person free (max. 2 free places/group), combined invoice.

The final number of people for the event must be confirmed no later than five business days before the event date. The confirmed number of people is the basis for invoicing. Other drinks will always be charged according to consumption. All our prices include the valid value-added tax.

Modern Karelian Feast Meal for groups (see group terms)

Modern Karelian Feast Meal

is compiled respecting Karelian tradition, spiced with the unique character of our own region.

The absolute hit products of the meal are the oven-fresh Karelian pies and Ilomantsi vatruskas, made in the house's pie bakery. The meal begins in the Karelian style with a varied appetizer buffet, adorned with various fish starters and generous salads. For the main course, indulge in cream-glazed salmon and Karelian stew, slow-cooked in the oven, with side dishes. For dessert, enjoy forest delicacies in the form of berry kissel, as well as coffee and brewed tea.

By arrangement, the feast meal is available for groups year-round.

Karelian culture in Parppeinvaara

Our Karelian culture package combines the diverse cultural offerings of the poetry village with the traditional food delicacies of Restaurant Parppeinpirtti.

Period of validity: June 1 - August 31, 2026. Ask about other dates too!

Program duration: approx. 2.5 h

Program description:

The group arrives at Parppeinvaara, where a guide is waiting to greet them. The guide leads the group inside the Runonlaulajan pirtti, where in addition to a presentation of the Runonlaulajan pirtti, there is a kantele moment. After this, the program continues with a guided tour of the outdoor area; Matelin and Korhosten museum granaries, Rajakenraali Raappanan cabin, the Orthodox Chapel of All Saints, and Nature Lodge Mesikkä. At the end of the tour, the group moves to Restaurant Parppeinpirtti to enjoy the offerings of the modern Karelian feast meal.

In group pricing, every 16th customer is free, with a maximum of 2 free places per group.

The program order is always agreed upon with the group in advance on a case-by-case basis.
