Changes in business operations are sometimes challenging and take a moment to settle into new routines.
During the summer, we may not have been able to answer all questions regarding our services and products. For this reason, I am writing this article to help you better understand the overall picture of the changes.
Karelian food culture is the cornerstone of our business idea, and we want to cherish it in the future.
What remains unchanged?
Many have been interested in the upcoming summer season, and if I am still stirring the soup pot then, we will continue as before, meaning there will be no changes to the Feast Meal sittings.
Here you can find more detailed sitting times for the Feast Meal
Seasonal menus also remain the same, meaning you can still come to us to celebrate and feast on Father's Day, Christmas, Easter, May Day, and Mother's Day.
Do you have an unused gift card that was issued for a home-cooked lunch?
It can be used as a payment method for other restaurant services, for a Feast Meal, Christmas lunch, or any other food service.
What opportunities does this change bring?
Various events can be arranged more easily, as staff and facility resources have been freed up by discontinuing daily opening hours.
Whether it's birthdays, a memorial service, a baptism, a wedding, corporate representative events, meetings, a well-being day, coffee service, or catering service in the customer's chosen premises, feel free to ask for an offer and we will tailor a package to your liking.
We will continue to offer takeaway menus, layer cakes, sandwich cakes, and Traditional bakery products, but it is good to remember to place your order in advance so that we can fit it into our daily schedule.
The change also makes it possible to organize various theme evenings, e.g., popular gig nights and burger evenings. (The upcoming autumn/early winter is already so booked that organizing evenings may not be possible immediately..)
We gladly welcome ideas and wishes to develop our operations. :)
So, what changed?
1) Home-cooked lunch is no longer in our service selection
2) The Traditional bakery no longer operates daily, but within our opening hours, meaning you can always buy Karelian pies to take home during Feast Meal sittings or at pre-announced times.
During Christmas and the summer season, we still bake daily as before.
It is also possible to get products by order at other times, but orders should be placed well in advance so that we have time to react to them.
3) Are you coming to arrange an event on-site? We recommend calling or sending an email to arrange a meeting.
You can reach us by phone at 010 239 9950 (mainly weekdays from 9:00-15:00) or by email at myynti@parppeinpirtti.fi.
Our business is still for sale, but there are no changes in sight on that front, and Pirttihirmu himself is still in charge of operations as usual :)
We hope this article clarified our future plans :)
And please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help you with event planning and arrangements, we are here for you!
